What will our first appointment at Chatter include?
Your child's first appointment will begin as a standard evaluation looking at your child's strengths and weaknesses. We will go over concerns you mentioned in your pre-appointment intake form and visit about some of the challenges you are facing with your child. Once the evalutation is completed, we will discuss whether or not your child is in need of professional services. If not, we will visit about some things to watch for in the future, tools to help you help your child at home, and answer any questions you have. We are here for you and we want your child to succeed, we are excited to meet you!
Will my appointments be billed through my insurance?
Yes, our business manager Jenny will be glad to walk you through any questions you have regarding your insurance coverage. Each insurance policy is different and we work with insurance policies just like a the doctor's office so we will take care of the billing side of this process! Once we submit your claim through insurance we will bill you as directed by your policy.
What if my insurance policy doesn't cover therapy services?
Most insurance policies cover therapy services however every benefit plan is different. You can call your insurance to verify what you can expect for coverage. If certain services are not covered you do have the option to pay out of pocket. If needed, we will work with you to discuss a plan and payment options to provide your child the best resources available.
I have a few concerns but I don't know if my child needs therapy services, help!
